POME sludge
POME (palm oil mill effluent) is the liquid waste resulting from palm oil production in a mill. Although non-toxic, raw POME has very high BOD and COD (typically 100 times that of municipal sewage) and can pollute the environment. The very large oxygen depleting capability in the aquatic system is due to the high organic and nutrient contents present in POME.

Structure
The main body of screw sludge dehydrator is made of multiple fixed annular plates and moveable annular plates with the screw shaft running through it. The front part is thickening department and the ending part is dewatering department. It can thicken and dewater sludge in one box, and has taken place of traditional filter clothes and centrifugal filtration method for its distinctive filter model.
